The Calendar
Fairs, weeks and festivals, in the order they happen each year.
Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale
Staged across JAX District’s reclaimed warehouses every two years. The 2026 edition ran 30 January to 2 May.
Zona Maco anchors the week, and from 2027 Alcova arrives for its first Latin American edition.
The largest week in the calendar. Salone del Mobile at the fairground, and Alcova somewhere unexpected.
New York opens its showrooms and galleries for a month of launches.
Los Angeles at its most exploratory, across galleries and studios.
A city-wide festival organised into design districts.
The Gulf’s principal design week, centred on Dubai Design District.
Design Doha Biennale
Staged in Msheireb Downtown Doha every two years. The 2026 edition opens 5 to 7 November and runs through 31 January 2027.
Art Basel, Design Miami, Untitled Art and Alcova, in one crowded, exhilarating week on the sand.
Dates shift year to year. This page lists the weeks in their usual order — follow any of them for our coverage as it publishes. The Riyadh and Doha biennales run every two years rather than annually; the months shown reflect their most recently confirmed editions.
