Martyn White covers architecture, interiors, design and the creative minds behind them. We publish stories on built projects, product and material design, studio profiles, and the broader culture of design. If you have something that fits, we’d love to hear about it. Pitches are welcome from architects, designers, studios, PR professionals and individuals alike.

We favour work with a strong visual identity and a story worth telling. We cover projects at every scale, from a single room to a landmark building.
What to include
To give your pitch the best chance, please include the following:
- A brief description of the project or story (2–3 sentences)
- High-resolution images (JPG or PNG, at least 1800px wide)
- Full photography credits
- Architect or designer credits and studio name
- Location and completion date (for built work)
- Any embargo dates we should be aware of
We accept pitches at any stage — completed projects, upcoming launches, or long-lead stories. The more context you can give us, the better.
What we can’t consider
- Work that has already been widely published elsewhere
- Advertorial or paid-for editorial (see our Advertise page)
- Submissions without images
- Work outside our editorial remit
We read every pitch but cannot respond individually to those that aren’t a fit. If we’re interested, we’ll be in touch.
Response times
We aim to respond to all pitches within two weeks. If you haven’t heard back within that time, your story may not be a fit for us right now — though we do keep promising submissions on file.
If your pitch is time-sensitive or tied to a launch date, please mention this clearly in your email and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
We do not guarantee publication of any submitted work. All editorial decisions rest with the Martyn White team.
