“Since 2012, brothers Hasan and Husain Roomi have led H2R, their award-winning Dubai-based interior architecture firm, shaping environments that feel distinctive, function intelligently, and give people a reason to return.”

H2R earns its place in the index for the consistency of an idea rather than a single project. Since Hasan and Husain Roomi founded the practice in 2012, the brothers have built a hospitality, retail and residential portfolio that treats guest experience as a spatial problem to solve, not a finish applied at the end. Early Dubai commissions such as Tom & Serg and Clinton Street Bakery set out that method: layout, lighting and acoustics considered alongside branding and identity.
That approach has kept H2R working from both London and Dubai, based out of a studio in Al Quoz, sourcing materials regionally rather than defaulting to imported finishes, and offering branding, bespoke furniture and site selection alongside architecture and interiors, so every touchpoint of a space carries the same idea through. The practice has built an award-winning reputation on that consistency, and its Dubai projects have become part of the city’s own hospitality and F&B design vocabulary.
